Online classes during COVID-19
As we address the impact of COVID-19, Caribbean Medical University would like to announce that Basic Science program classes in Summer 2020 semester (commencing on May 12th) will be temporarily conducted online at our newly developed CMU GO Platform till the end of the pandemic. Furthermore beginning Summer 2020 the entire Premed Program will be also available online for all premedical students to build a strong foundation for the MD program and to guarantee admission to Basic Science upon its successful completion. As the news and the virus can be disruptive to our daily lives and routines, we here are CMU are continuing to focus on our goal to provide successful physician to the world and ensuring the health and safety of our students.
Before the upcoming Summer semester our students will receive instruction how to log in to the CMU GO platform and begin classes. We hope the pandemic will get over soon and Basic Science students will be able to return to Curacao to continue the on-site training.
Clinical Science students will not be affected and will continue their clinical clerkship in the designated rotations places.
